At Party with Queens, we want every customer to feel confident when shopping with us. This Refund Policy sets out the terms under which refunds, returns, and exchanges are handled. It establishes the legal relationship between Party with Queens and our customers, in line with New Zealand consumer protection laws.
Online businesses selling products in New Zealand are required to comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA). These laws ensure that customers are entitled to remedies if products are faulty, misrepresented, or not fit for purpose.

Conditions for Refunds and Returns
• Faulty or Damaged Products: If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund, replacement, or repair under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
• Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases. However, at our discretion, we may offer an exchange or store credit if the product is returned unused, in its original packaging, and within 14 days of purchase.
• Custom or Personalized Items: Refunds are not available for custom-made or personalized products unless they are faulty or not as described.
• Sale Items: Items purchased on sale are non-refundable unless faulty.
Timeframe for Refund Requests
• Refund or return requests must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.
• Claims for faulty or damaged products should be made as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of delivery.
Refund Method
• Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
• If an exchange is requested, we will ship the replacement item once the original product has been returned and inspected.
